In-Home Placements

 

Southeastern Guide Dogs sometimes do an in-home placement. This is when a Student does not attend a residential class. Instead a trainer travels to the Student's home and conducts the match and training in the Student's home area.

 

During the passed year, two of the TriCounty Puppy Raiser's Group puppies have been In-Home Placed.

On April 5th,"JR" a black, Goldador male, born on March 7, 2013,  returned to Southeastern Guide Dogs campus to begin his formal harness training.  JR was raised by Linda Little of The Villages, Florida and part of the TriCounty puppy raiser's group.

Mumsie, a black Labrador female,  born on 1-17-13 was raised by Nancy and Tom Schmelzer of The Villages, Florida.
